Landscape Painting – Beginner & Intermediate (Thursdays, 9:00AM-12:00PM)
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of landscape painting while helping them develop their individual approach and artistic style. Students will learn how to observe and translate natural environments into paintings through an understanding of composition, perspective, color, light, atmosphere, and depth.
Through demonstrations, guided exercises, and individual instruction, we will explore techniques for painting skies, trees, water, architecture, and natural surroundings, while learning how color and brushwork can create mood and a sense of place.
Designed for both beginners and intermediate artists, the course provides step-by-step guidance for those building foundational skills while allowing more experienced students to strengthen their technique and develop more expressive landscape paintings.
Class runs for 7 weeks.
