Experimental Art – 2D & 3D (Thursdays, 6:00PM-8:00PM)
This creative art class focuses on teaching students how to transform an idea into a tangible work of art. Students will explore the creative process from the first concept and sketch to the selection of materials, experimentation, problem-solving, and final execution.
Working across both 2D and 3D art, students will experiment with painting, drawing, collage, mixed media, sculpture, construction, and unconventional materials. Each project encourages students to think creatively, explore different possibilities, and discover the best way to give physical form to their ideas.
Designed for beginner and intermediate students, the course emphasizes creative thinking, experimentation, and personal expression, while building the practical skills needed to bring an artistic concept to life.
Class runs for 7 weeks.
